is there to tell us why the police think those victims were randomly targeted, what is going on? >> yes, they don't believe that the victims and suspects knew each other but we are here on state street near oak where investigators are investigating the injury of a woman and as you can see police are going in and out of a home and right now they are gathering evidence and trying to locate two suspects. the shots were fired just outside a home on state street. an 18-year-old male and female were sitting on a porch when a vehicle approached and then the two were shot. we are told by officers that the male was hit 5 times and the female was hit by shrapnel. we believe this appears to be random and they just have limited information on the suspect. >> the suspects fled prior to our arrival and the suspects fled on foot and another in a vehicle. >> both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and it is too early to tell right now if the suspects were in a gang or if this is at all gang-related but it has been a very busy night for san jose police and another man was shot i

and dave, you can see the bay bridge looks good and a lot of people don't like hanging out and waiting the way it is getting even in the late hours there are no problems there now if you are driving on 55 #0 west bound and if you are driving to the dumbarton, we almost never mention that bridge because it usually does well. this morning it is doing nicely and they are on their way to east palo alto. >>> i will show you the remains of typhoon haiyan and when it reoccurs it starts to fall apart and come back to the pacific. now it is starting to fall apart and south japan gets caught up into the system which moves and that's the remains of it toward the allusions. none of that is heading in our directions and it is only patchy fog, we have clear skies and oop and it seems to be about and remember, my take out is very low so you get paid well. 43 in ukiah, 44 in sacramento and it is cooler. it will be warmer today just some patchy fog near the coast and i don't think it will warm up. and 60s and 70s. san leandro is in will there, sarah total and although it is 54, brandon earlier in pacif

are looking at a commute on a monday that is easing into the main part of it. we don't have a lot to talk about which is good. this is a look at the east shore freeway. of course we watch it very closely because when it changes it happens very closely. no problems a the the bay bridge toll plaza. the traffic looks good as you drive through. no major problems this morning. and on the peninsula highway 101 is looking good. so is 280. let's go back to the desk. >>> the san francisco onramp to 101 in octavia is open again. after an overnight collision that killed a man in a wheelchair. ktvu katie utehs talked to investigators. she is back now with more details on what happened in this continuing investigation. >> reporter: this is an absolutely notorious intersection. the man in the wheelchair was traveling east on market. so toward downtown. you step out of the way you can see how busy this intersection is. the driver was coming down octavia toward the 101 onramp when he struck the man crossing into the crosswalk. as we move over you can see some of the debris still in the roadway. along wit

before they can get back inside. we don't know the cause of this fire. the official cause. the chief out here was busy when we first arrived. we got pushed back and police have put up tape. clement street one block between 12th and funston is shut down at this hour. we will keep you posted on any new developments. >>> time is 5:06. new this morning the chp investigating the mysterious overnight death of a woman in walnut creek. her body was found on 680. several cars hit the woman. she was lying on the freeway near the highway 24 interchange. the police report indicated she had been hit by a bart train and fell down on to the freeway. >> initially it was unknown if that female was hit by a bart train but upon further investigation by a bart employee it was determined the person at least initially right now there is no evidence of that person being hit by the train. >> investigators now say its possible that the woman jumped from the bart tracks down on to the freeway to take her own life. >>> the city of oakland reportedly is being forced to hire a different company to deplete a controve
